Bengal Kitten Prices

Kitten pricing is based on how much it conforms to the breed standards (how much it looks like a Leopard).  All of our kittens will be glittered!!  Our kittens are priced at around 4 weeks old. It isn't until that time that we get a good idea of their final pattern and colors. We also like our kitten families to pick their kittens at this age as this is when their beauty and personalities start to emerge.   Bengals are usually born with solid spots. As their patters emerge their spots will "Rosette" and the center becomes lighter. It usually takes a Bengal up to 1 year to achieve their full pattern and color. In the first few months of life they go through a Camouflage stage or the "fuzees" which may distort their true color and pattern. After they loose their fuzees their gorgeous glittered pelt is revealed!  When first choosing your Bengal Kitten it is hard to believe they can be more beautiful then they already are!

There are also a lot of other areas that affect pricing. There are genetic testing fees, vet bills, food bills, litter, toys and time involved as well as many other factors. Here at Carolina Bengals we spare no expense in making sure you are getting the best fed and most socialized Bengal available! We feed the best foods and snacks to our babies. We also hold them several times a day.  We take them outside in nice weather and also take them on walks in their kitty stroller.  They get bi-weekly nail trimming and baths every other week.  This is done between myself, my husband and my children. We all take turns holding and loving them. We also make sure they are well socialized with our dogs.   Also, we DO NOT cage our animals. They live with us in our home. It is a lot of work. We put in about 80 hours per week each but would not change it for the world!  We love all of our babies!  Typically our Bengal pricing starts at $2.000 and can go as high as $3,000 however most are between $2,500 to $3,000.    We pride ourselves in giving every family the best of the best!

Thank you for inquiring about our beautiful Bengals.  Feel free to call us if you have any further questions.  Cherie-919-267-6107

We require a $500.00 deposit on all of our kittens to hold them.  Deposits must be received within 24 hours of a buyers verbal acceptance of a cat or kitten. You also have 24hours after visiting us or inquiring about a kitten to decide if you want the kitten.  If we do not hear from you within 24 hours they the kitten in question will be offered to others.   Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to another kitten in certain situations. Once a deposit is received, that kitten will be held and not offered to anyone else.   It is our desire to have each of our babies in a wonderful home in a timely manner so they can bond with there new family. A change of mind can quite often jeopardize the chance for that kitten to be placed in a loving home while still at a desirable age. A change of mind after 9 weeks of age will forfeit the deposit.  Payment is accepted by cash, check or via pay pal.  We do not accept credit cards however a credit card payment may be made via pay pal but you must add the 4% fee which is $15 for a $500 deposit.  Monthly payments are accepted on your kitten. However, final payment must be made in cash upon pick up of your kitten.

Pickup Information

All kittens or cats will be picked up in person. If you need to fly in to pick them up then we will meet you at the airport.  There is a fee of $75 to meet you at the airport that must be prepaid.   If you are flying with your kitten you will need to make sure you have an airline approved carrier. If you would prefer the kitten be delivered then our courier service can do that for an additional charge. That charge depends on mileage, time involved and/or flight fees.

Taking your Kitten Home

We prefer you NOT take your kitten to the vet until they are ready for their next shot.  When a kitten goes home their immune system lowers.  If they are brought right to the vet they can potentially get ill.  They are NOT immune until they receive all of their immunizations.   It is important to make sure your kitten is healthy when you arrive home. All of our kittens are guaranteed to be free from genetic defects for a period of one year, however illness's can happen. To avoid your kitten from getting ill, it is mandatory that you keep your new Bengal separate from any other animals in your household for a period of not less then one week. Your Bengal should be kept in a smaller space such as a bathroom. He/she is not to be left out of that space alone for any reason. Your new Bengal needs an adjustment period as well as to make sure they are free from any infections. There is no health guarantee for a Bengal that was let out to roam the house and become ill before they were home for at least one week. Any and all illness's that occur that are believed to be from genetics must have a Vets documentation stating the cause of illness or death was due to genetics.  A Necropsy must be performed at the owners expense if said kitten should expire and owner is requesting replacement of said kitten.
