Bengal Kitten Prices

Kitten pricing is based on how much it conforms to the breed standards (how much it looks like a Leopard). Our kittens are priced at around 4 weeks old. It isn't until that time that we get a good idea of their final pattern and colors. Bengals are usually born with solid spots. As their patters emerge their spots may "Rosette" and the center becomes lighter. It usually takes a Bengal up to 1 year to achieve their full pattern and color. In the first few months of life they go through a Camouflage stage or the "fuzzies" which may distort their true color and pattern. After they loose their fuzzies their gorgeous glittered pelt is revealed! When first choosing your Bengal Kitten it is hard to believe they can be more beautiful then they already are.

There are also a lot of other areas that affect pricing. There are stud fees, vet bills, food bills, litter, time involved as well as many other factors. Here at Carolina Bengals we spare no expense in making sure you are getting the best fed and most socialized Bengal available! We feed the best foods and snacks to our babies. We also spend at least one hour per day holding each kitten. This is done between myself, my husband and my children. We all take turns holding and loving them. We also make sure they are well socialized with our three dogs. Also, we DO NOT cage our animals. They live with us in our home. It is a lot of work. We put in about 80 hours per week but would not change it for the world. We love all of our babies!

Thank you for inquiring about our beautiful Bengals.  Feel free to call us if you have any further questions.  Cherie-919-267-6107

Payment

We require a $500.00 deposit on all of our kittens to hold them. Deposits must be received within 72 hours of a buyers verbal acceptance of a cat or kitten. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to another kitten in certain situations. Once a deposit is received, that kitten will be held and not offered to anyone else. It is also required that the sum of 1/2 of the kitten price be paid for by the time the kitten is ten weeks of age. If the kitten is not paid in full by the pickup date agreed (at 12 weeks of age) then said buyer forfeits any and all deposit made on said kitten or cat. It is our desire to have each of our babies in a wonderful home in a timely manner so they can bond with there new family. A change of mind can quite often jeopardize the chance for that kitten to be placed in a loving home while still at a desirable age. Payment is accepted by cash, check or via paypal. We do not accept credit cards however a credit card payment may be made via paypal. Monthly payments are accepted on your kitten. However, final payment must be made in cash upon pick up of your kitten.

Pickup Information

All kittens or cats will be picked up in person. If you need to fly in to pick them up then we will pick you up at the airport and bring you back at no additional charge! If you are flying with your kitten you will need to make sure you have an airline approved carrier. If you would prefer the kitten be delivered then our courier service can do that for an additional charge. That charge depends on destination, time involved and flight fees.

Taking your Kitten Home

You must take your kitten/cat to the vet within 72 hours of pickup. Failure to do so will void your Health Guarantee. It is important to make sure your kitten is healthy when you arrive home. All of our kittens are guaranteed to be free from genetic defects however illness's can happen. To avoid your kitten from getting ill, it is mandatory that you keep your new Bengal separate from any other animals in your household for a period of not less then one week. Your Bengal should be kept in a smaller space such as a bathroom. He/she is not to be left out of that space alone for any reason. Your new Bengal needs an adjustment period as well as to make sure they are free from any infections. There is no warranty for a Bengal that was let out to roam the house and become ill before they were home for at least one week. Any and all illness's that have occurred that are requesting a refund or replacement must have a Vets documentation stating the cause of illness or death was due to genetics or a kitten being sick upon receiving him/her. A Necropsy must be performed at the owners expense if said kitten should expire and owner is requesting replacement of said kitten.
